Real estate is not my first profession. But it is my passion. Real estate allows me to combine the skills I’ve built from my previous professions and serve people in an extremely rewarding manner. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a genuine smile spreading across the face of a buyer who has just found and successfully negotiated the perfect home, or the joy of a seller who is taking a large check to the bank and moving onto the next phase of their life.
I’ve worked in the banking industry, taught school as a marketing education teacher, and then as a reading specialist, and worked in the central office of the county school system in the evaluation and research department.
But for the past eight years, I have happily been working in real estate.
I am the mother of two incredibly wonderful teenagers (okay, slightly biased opinion but true nonetheless), the wife of fabulously supportive husband and owner of a highly energetic beagle.
My hobbies include NIA, reading, volunteering for the Cancer Society, PTSA at Leesville High School, Cystic Fibrosis, and the Food Bank of NC. I currently sponsor Sycamore Creek Elementary School and the Community Watch Program in Barton's Creek Bluffs.
I love any outdoor activity. Biking, kayaking, walking our dog, skiing - both snow and water - are some of the activities I enjoy.
Education has always been an important component of my life. As well as taking various courses, I also teach seminars for other real estate professionals. My favorite class is detailing how to perform an accurate market analysis of a property.
If you think we might work well together, give me a call. I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
