Ann Hughes has lived in Cary, NC for the past 16 years where she spent 11 years as a high school science teacher and dept. chair. Her years of teaching have given her a broad knowledge of the education system and the insight to understand how to serve all levels of educational needs
Born & raised on the West Coast, Ann spent 10 years in senior management specializing in residential mortgage markets. Her experience in mortgage banking provided her with the background necessary to meet the needs of real estate and finance for her clients.
Ann holds a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science and Biology. She has an active NC teaching credential, and is a certified Environmental Educator. Ann is an active member of Raleigh Board of Realtors Community Service Committee, committed to giving back to the community.
In addition to being an active member of the National Association of Realtors (as well as local chapters), Ann holds the professional designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), and Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI). Ann’s experience in education and mortgage lending bring a unique insight to residential real estate.
Ann and her husband, Patrick, have been married for more than 32 years and have 3 grown daughters. When not working with her real estate clients, Ann loves spending time with family and friends exploring the gorgeous coastal communities of North Carolina.
